What is Reiki?

Looking back a few years ago if someone would have told me about Reiki and how it can heal someone I would have laughed in their face. Having an analytical mind being in IT (Information Technology) if I could not see it, touch it or feel it was not real.   As well being in Go Ju Ryu Karate for 13 years I understood Chi and depending how you stood and breath through a technique you would get more power.  That was tangible for me, but to have someone just put their hands on me and flow energy through me that could heal me was something I could not believe.

Most books you read will talk about Reiki starting in the late 1800 by Mikao Usui  from Japan and developed from there.  I am going to tell you a story which I want you to take it as just that if you want to believe it as a true story or just a fairy tale that is up to you.

Energy healing as we call it has been around BC (Before Christ). Any history book that talks about leaders and kings always talk about having great healers with them using aromas, oils, toning and energy healing to help the sick.  This has been going on for hundreds of years and being passed down to people who were open to learn and wanted to help people. I’m not going to go into any specifics that is up to you to find out for yourself. Today when a healing happens that no one can explain they call it a medical miracle. Be it the body naturally healing itself through reducing stress, eating the right foods, exercising, resting, and treatments like Reiki.

I am sure you are asking at this point what is Reiki. Reiki is the act of laying hands on the human or animal body to comfort and relieve pain. Through this process if you are more attuned to heal energy could flow through you. This energy is in all of us, think of it as an electromagnetic energy that connects as all too all things. This has been called the Universal Energy or Chi or Ki depending on your background and beliefs.  This energy flows in all living things with a DNA  and works through us to develop our existence. Now with Reiki people who have learned this style of treatment work to balance out the energies in the body by placing their hands on certain areas of the body to help calm and balance the energies.

Does this work? I have read all different posts, comments, reviews as well started treating clients myself just for me to see if it really works. I can honestly say every person I have treated so far has felt something happen and have felt benefits from a Reiki treatment with me.  I have heard that this could be a placebo effect.  I thought that as well working in a clinic with people with real pain and injuries. I have seen things so far that I am still trying to get me head around.

I had one person I was asked to treat who was kicked in the leg training in Muay Thai and ended up with a deep contusion on the outside of his left leg. The Athletic Therapist and hospital both assessed him and told him it would be 3 to 6 weeks to heal.  I treated him once for a 60min treatment and the contusion was gone in 48 hours.  He was back working out within a couple of days.

I had another dancer who was not able to touch her hands to the ground doing a hamstring stretch. She said her calves were just too tight. She has been doing treatment with a massage therapist and stretching daily but it was not helping. I did a 30min Reiki treatment with her and she got off the table as was able to touch her hands right to the floor.  We were both shocked to say the least.

I can go on and on about the stories I have of people I have treated and the results they have found which has really made me a believer.

If you are having any emotional, physical or psychological challenges that you are going through and are not seeing any improvement. As well are not currently working with a Reiki practitioner I would highly recommend you try a few session with one and see how you feel.

If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me

Why Am I Not Seeing Success?

This question I get asked numerous times in regards to health, weight loss, career, finances, relationships, people read all these success books, watch videos, talk to mentors, friends and family but find a hard time implementing these systems. Or they just can not figure out why it is not working.

I have followed many of the great motivational speakers like Tony Robbins,  Byron Katie, John C. Maxwell, Stephen Covey, the list goes on and on. What I have found is that all their information works if you are just are able focus and not listen to your negative ego. The Negative Ego will tell you it does not work, it is way too hard, you are not seeing success so it does not work, it is taking too long to see results. All this negative thinking hinders you from your success. Plus you are not doing it for you, it is to prove something to false ideal vs achieving success for you.  Setting out an action plan that really works.

I had to first work on myself to really get down my core needs and wants to find out who I was as a person. What I really needed to be me and what I really wanted in my life and set the foundation.  This is what I call finding your Core Values and Legacy. This foundation is what I used to set my goals for me to achieve so I was able to live my Legacy.

Most of us including me before I learned this key point, I was setting goals that were not aligned with me. They were material goals that I really did not want to work for or want in my life. When I really figured out what I was willing to do and what my core values where success was easy because I enjoyed it.

Remember if you want to achieve success you have to first look after You and build that strong foundation before you can start achieving your dreams.

Break Through with Tony Robbins

It’s interesting I watch all 6 shows of Break Through with Tony Robbins.  To be honest each show choked me up to watch the show and really relate to the people and see the challenges they have overcome to have their limiting beliefs challenged. Then see them excel to achieve their dreams.

Looking a back at my life and going back through all the challenges I had from at 2 years old my mom was having grand mal seizure’s to the point she had to let me Grandmother raise me because she would have seizures that she wasn’t able to take care of.  Having father around to raise me and teach me. My Grandmother living with her own pain which she turned to alcohol as her support which was our families way of dealing with stress. My Grandfather never around because he was always at the race track and eventually left my Grandmother. Which left her to raise me on her one.  One of my Grandmother’s brothers took the time to teach me how to play pool and would take me out when he came to town just so I would have a male figure in my life. But he died all of the sudden of a heart attack on a baseball field in Acton. Then a family friend my Grandmother knew stepped up and started to take me out and teach me about shooting hand guns in a gun rang. Which my Mom was terrified off but when she learned all the safety steps and how I learned to respect guns she was actually was grateful that I learned how to handle them properly. Especially at 14 years old one of the schools I went too hand some kids from a rough area and I was very street smart because of this. That family friend passed away when I was 18 years old which was hard.

I dropped out of school at 18 to go work in warehousing because I felt I needed money and I wasn’t really good at school. So why not make money.

So at this point you can understand I grew up as a angry child/teenager/young adult. I never was in trouble with the law but had a big chip on my shoulder. I started Karate with a great instructor who to this day I really respect because he saw that I was an angry kid and just wanted to learn to fight. But he say deeper than that and taught me what the true meaning of Martial arts is.

At 21 years old I got a young women pregnant and in the shock of everything I got married and went through 2 years of a truly bad marriage, working 3 jobs trying to make ends meet, not know the person I married as well not really having anything in common with her. This lead into a 4 year long divorce and me not being able to see my son because of a long custody battle.

Then I got into a relationship with a great girl but ended up helping her out financially through school which she ended up not completely and lead to me getting a second job as a bouncer to make ends meet.  Which I ended up getting into a situation at a club which lead to me getting peppered sprayed and falsely arrested for something I didn’t do. After a long court case all charges were dropped and my record was cleared.

I also was in a motorcycle accident where I flipped my motorcycle (CBR 600 F4i) up in Orangeville doing the twisties. Ended up with a concussion and short term amnesia which took me about 3 months to remember the accident.

I injured my lower back and had a herniated disc at L5 S1 to the point I was bed ridden for 6 weeks to the longest episode I think was 4 months.  I went through very low points that I didn’t think I was going to be able to walk.   I finally had the choice to either have my spine fused or find another way to heal my back. Which I was able to heal my back thanks to Carolyn within 3 months.

which leads us up to today

Now I am not telling you this stuff to say oh poor Brandon, I watch shows like “Break Through with Tony Robbins” and I get all choked up because I really can understand what these people are going through and how hard it can be.  How when we are in that situation we can’t see there is a way out and we can do it. When you are dealing with whatever challenge we have a choice to either stay in it and fester in it or make a change to do what we can to get out of it.

I have always fought my way out of challenges because I personally felt that I can do it no matter how bad it gets I never gave up. To the point now I have left all pain and am so grateful that I have gone through the challenges that I have gone through. I’m a true Holistic Lifestyle Coach because over the last 4 years I have healed myself Holistically which is an ongoing process and will never end.

Never give up no matter how bad things may seem.

Balance comes from the ROOT

Working with people all over the world, it becomes more and more obvious that the Chakra energy system relates to everyone.  I have used this as a tool for assessing the people I work with and helping them overcome their life challenges. I also use other tools, but I really want to discuss the Chakra system because it seems increasingly important for people in our society to know more about it.

There are 7 main Chakras and many systems that work with them.  Below is information about each, in order from bottom to top.

First Chakra “Root” – Located between the genitals and anus. The colour associated with this Chakra is RED. This Chakra is the growth stage of standing up for yourself between of the ages of 0 and 7 years old.

Second Chakra “Sacral” – Located at the lower abdomen, between navel and genitals. The colour associated with this Chakra is ORANGE. This Chakra is the growth stage of challenging motivations based on social conditioning between of the ages of 7 and 14 years old.

Third Chakra “Solar Plexus” – Located between the navel and base of the sternum. The colour associated with this Chakra is YELLOW. This Chakra is the growth stage of self-esteem/self-confidence between of the ages of 14 and 21 years old.

Fourth Chakra “Heart” – Located at the centre of the chest. The colour associated with this Chakra is GREEN. This Chakra is the growth stage of forgiveness and compassion between of the ages of 21 and 28 years old.

Fifth Chakra “Throat” – Located centrally, at the base of the throat. The colour associated with this Chakra is Blue. This Chakra is the growth stage of personal expression between of the ages of 28 and 35 years old

Sixth Chakra “Third Eye” – Located above and between the eyebrows. The colour associated with this Chakra is Indigo. This Chakra is the growth stage of emotional intelligence above the age of 35.

Seventh Chakra “Crown” – Located on the top of the head. The colour associated with this Chaka is violet, gold, white. This Chakra is the growth stage of selflessness above the age of 35.

want to give you this so you get a base of knowledge of what the chakras represent. If you are having a challenge in life, you can see if it relates to a chakra.  If it does, it could be manifesting itself physically, causing pain in that area.  For example, if you’re having pain in the neck or shoulder area, it could be related to communication issues, be it at work, family, relationship, etc. Knowing the cause can help you to start working towards a solution.

There are different ways to balance out the Chakras (depending on what the challenge is):  crystals, incense, oils, exercises or drills. Whatever area you are trying to balance out in your life, take your time and enjoy the process. Each person’s situation is different, and what works for one person might not work for another.  Try a few different ways to balance out yourself and your Chakras. If you don’t feel a difference, I would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. E-mail me at info@knssconsulting.com with your questions and I will personally answer them.

Balancing out your Chakras/lifestyle is extremely beneficial. By having your nutrition, relationships, finances, exercise and spirituality in harmony, you can enjoy the journey of life by living your legacy each and every day.

Good morning everyone,

It’s been a little while since I posted last. I’ve been working on doing some market research trying to find out how I can better serve people.  The funny thing is this, I’ve been getting little to no feed back or I get people thinking I’m trying to sell them something right of the bat. Which is not the case, if people did the research about me I’m truly about helping people first. To the point that where people who haven’t been able to afford my services I have bartered with them just to keep that exchange of energy. Every relationship, partnership, business relationship should be a 50/50 split. If your are going to take more then the other person, that person isn’t going to feel valued. Now that’s just my value on how I want to live my life and run my business I’m not saying you should do it yourself. I want to enjoy what I do and see people succeed with out becoming a corporate model where it’s all about the selling, profit margins…etc. Then you lose sight of what is truly important, that is why my business value is help people first.  Don’t get me wrong like all of us in today’s society we need to make money so we can pay the bills, put food on our plate and for me keep educating myself so I can keep helping people.

I’m just ranting to the internet.  I don’t want to do that I want to make a difference in peoples lives even if it’s just one thing I recommend you do and you feel better, I would be full filling my legacy.

What I need from you is this, Please ask people you know to come to my blog and answer these questions below. Ask them to e-mail me there answers to iwant@knssconsulting.com .

Put My System to the Test!

I have been doing talks and presentation more frequently over the past few  months.  One question keeps coming up which is really made me think.

“Show me your system works!”

That has really got me thinking I have some great testimonials on my website. Worked with a few clients to really help me build my programs to where they are today.  But I have not shown  the results other then with myself.

I have recently decided I want to work with 1 person and 1 person only who is willing to make the lifestyle changes (nutrition, exercise, sleep, hydration…etc) to help them reach their health goal. The person who is selected will go through a full assessment, given a baseline on where their health is at the start and we will track their progress all the way through. As well I will be posting it on this blog so people can track the progress.

If you know someone who has health issues, would like to lose weight (more then 20lbs of weight loss), has type 2 diabetes, digestive issues…etc

Have them e-mail me their story and why they would like me to help them. The person who needs benefit the most and is willing to make the changes, as well have their information posted(their name, story, weight, measurements and before and after picture)  on this blog. I will contact them directly.

This is not a gimmick to sell a supplement…etc I am going to work with this person on how to change their eating habits, sleeping, lifestyle changes, build energy, reduce stress, teach them how to exercise properly, work with food sensitivities…etc.  To be 100% honest with you my goal is to prove that the system I use of Metabolic Typing, Exercise Program Design and Lifestyle Changes can really change someone’s health. That’s my goal

If you know someone who will benefit from this and is willing to be 100% committed

Have them e-mail me their story to  Iwanthealth@knssconsultling.com

Why is Business so Hard!

Being in business can be challenging for anyone. You have to wear so many hats if your just getting started out, business planner, accountant, marketer, researcher,  developer, web master, service and/or product developer, visionary…etc.  If you don’t have these skills people always recommend you outsource, contract some one or hire an employee. Where are you suppose to get the money? Yeah business planners talk about loans, business plans…etc but that is in theory you still have to test the market, see if your product or service is going to work and is profitable so you can keep the doors open.

For me I have and still do wear multiple hats as I develop my business and try to help people. I have made several changes through my business and number of mistakes. I have changed my rates, marketing, services, research…etc and I will keep making changes to my business until I can find how I can help the most people.

When you decide to go into business you have to decide really2 main things is it about the money or is it about the service/product that will help the people who purchase it.

When people make it about the money and not helping people their business becomes a lot harder because we all have an internal alarm system that tells us to stay away. When it becomes about the people and helping them better their lives. That’s when money is not an issue,  people will really appreciate you and your product/service because it has helped them.  We have all invested money into items, services, books..etc that we felt would better our lives. When we see results we feel great.

That’s why I am working so hard right now as a Holistic Lifestyle Coach to help educate the people I come in contact with, why it’s so important to look after their health.  The ones who really need my service I do my best to work with them by either giving them free tips to use, books/resources to read, movies to watch and if they need it work directly with me so I can coach them. Be it nutrition, exercise, lifestyle coaching…etc whatever it may be I really want to help.

If you’re in business think about how you’re servicing the people you are working with. Make it about them and really helping them with no expectations on return. You will see the rewards.

I appreciate your feed back e-mail at info@knssconsultling.com

7 Easy Steps to Increase your Energy

Meeting people all over the world and discussing their challenges I find one issue keeps standing out, lack of energy. I can sympathize with these people because I use to work in IT and found myself tired all the time. I would workout, train in Martial Arts but still was not feeling energetic.

Taking courses learning about health and wellness I was able to understand how our bodies work. I was able to change my nutrition, exercise, sleep, reduce my stress levels right away. I was able to see my energy increase in the matter of a couple of days.  I’m sure you’re asking how did I do it, I’m going to give you 7 Easy Steps on How to Increase Your Energy.

1)      Sleep – go to bed at 10:30pm in your local time zone. This way you get your proper sleep and if there are no other blocking factors or health issues you will start to build energy.

2)      Nutrition- Make sure you are eating Certified Organic Whole Foods (Proteins, Carbohydrates, and Fats) in the right ratio for you unique Metabolic Type.

3)      Hydration – Makes sure you are drinking good quality water Evian, Fuji…etc ½ your body weight in pounds in ounces per day

4)      Exercise – Make sure you have a properly designed exercise program that meets with your lifestyle and fitness goals. Remember train don’t drain

5)      Harmony – Your life should be in Harmony, don’t take on what you can’t handle. We all have 24 hours in a day 8 hours for sleep, 8 hours for work (most of us) and 8 hours left over.

6)      Stinken thinken – Too many of us get caught up in what is going on in our lives. We keep going over and over situations that consume us. These thoughts can manifest physically over time if not dealt with.

7)      Have Fun – Last but not least have fun and take time each day to have fun.

These are just simple steps you can start implementing in your life immediately. There are more advance techniques that I do recommend to people. For those of you who want more information sign up for my e-letter which gives more advance techniques at http://www.knssconsulting.com

Business Development

Sitting here on Sunday January 24th, just finished reviewing a marketing course that I completed  6 months ago.  I realized that my website and marketing was not following my dreams of how I want to help people.  I realized that when I first initially setup my website  it was all about me and what I can provide.

After going back through my website a few times I have updated the content but today I noticed that my menu’s where still corporate terms, very business like.  When I was in IT (Computers) I was very formal and technical. Now being in Holistic Lifestyle Coaching I’m connecting to people on a personal level. As well connecting to my core values of meeting great people and business friendships all over the world.  I have met people from the UK, Mexico, all across Canada and the United States. The way I want to run my business and meet people it becomes challenging especially because I still have IT in my blood. When I see a new application, website or gadget I just want to play with it like a little kid.  Up until a few weeks ago I had 2 separate blogs (Ning & WordPress) 2 Facebook accounts, 2 Youtube accounts, 2 Twitter accounts, numerous amount of tools and applications.  So you can see how my old IT habits and joy can become time consuming.

Plus, because I’ve learned all my marketing, website development and business strategies on my own as I’ve developed my business. I’ve had to use market research to see how I can best serve the people I work with.  This is one of the strategies I coach my business friends.

I’m currently going to do the same for the next few months because I see that people are having more challenges in their lives because of the economy and I want to know how I can better serve our community.  I have heard from a few people about some challenges they are having, but I want to hear from you.  This way I don’t make my service about what I can offer, I make it about you and what you need.  What ever it may be, how to improve your health, exercise, nutrition, relationships, career, business…etc. I want to know how I can help you.

Trust me I can ramble on and on about what I think you want to hear, but I’m not going to know for sure unless I ask you. So here it goes I’m asking you, letting me know what’s on your mind, what area’s in your life or the people around you are finding.

Click on this link below and let me know your thoughts.

How to Take on 2010 Holistically

How many of us look over the past year and say “I wish I could have done… ” or as the New Year approaches you are thinking, “This year I’m going too…”

I have been in the same situation numerous of times, recapping the years that have past and coming up with “New Year Resolutions” to achieve in the up coming year. I can honestly say that each year I have personally made a laundry list of goals I wanted to accomplish and have been able to fully complete only a few. There are people out there that are able to write out their list of 5, 10, 20…etc goals to achieve in the New Year and are able to complete them. But, like myself there are so many people that can not do it because life seems to throw us challenges.

Three years ago, I learned a way to setup realistic holistic goals that not only was I able to accomplish them, but I was also able to enjoy the journey. The system that I learned is detailed and takes sometime to get it down. I want to give you the overview and a few tips so you can start working on your Holistic New Years Resolutions.

1)      Understand and live your Core Values.

2)      Know your Legacy and live it daily.

3)      Do not set more then 3 Goals at a time.

4)      Draw out a mind map on how you are going to accomplish each goal.

5)      Figure out how you are going to do 1 action per day to work towards each of your goals.

Here are some tips that are very helpful for setting goals. Think of goals like children; you have to care, feed, play with and love them. If you can only handle taking care of one child then do not set yourself up for caring for 3 children. I use this analogy because it is so true when it comes to goals. If you can not spend the time, feed, nurture, and love your goal(s) how are you going to be able to accomplish them? That is why when I teach people about goal setting I teach them how to properly manage their expectation and how to set realistic goals. This way they can accomplish their goals without getting overwhelmed and quitting.

Once you have this foundation down you can easily set S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measureable, Action Oriented, Realistic, Timed) Goals and have a successful New Year!

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Are You Learning the Right Health Information?

Are You Learning the Right Health Information?

It’s Saturday and I’m out shopping for clothes with my girlfriend. I’m near the women’s change room, waiting for her to come out and show me what she has picked out, when I over hear a few women talking about how their clothes don’t fit.  The very next sentence, they ask each other, “Where should we go for lunch?”  What’s the first place that comes up?  No surprise to me, it was McDonald’s and Wendy’s. One of them follows with a comment about how these restaurants’ salads are “so healthy for you.”

There are so many people like this, trying to fight with their weight, diets, working out, etc. with the wrong information about what is healthy.  The wealth of media out there and the billions of dollars of advertising going into falsely educating the population on what they should eat to lose weight and be healthy is horrifying. Much of what we hear about processed and/or commercial food being so good for you is misinformation. People are not aware of all the chemicals, food colouring, additives and preservatives that are in those foods. On top of that, when you cook and/or microwave these chemicals they become something completely different. No wonder our society is getting sicker and sicker. More people are developing allergies, colds, flues and have weaker immune systems. On top of our stressful lifestyles of trying to keep up with the Jones’s, this is the perfect formula for disease.

We need to take control of our health by first consuming the right nutrients to look after our health. I’m sure your asking at this point, “How do I do this?”  First start by eating certified organic whole foods 80% of the time (5 days out of the week, for example Monday to Friday eat each meal as healthy as possible) and 20% (say, Saturday and Sunday) throw caution to the wind and eat some fun foods. (Hamburgers, Pop, Chips, etc.) This will help your body get the nutrients it needs 80% of the time which in this day is really good. Second, drink good quality water (Evian, Fuji just to name a few brands I recommend to my clients). You want to make sure you drink ½ your body weight in ounces per day (150lbs person would drink approximately 3 litres of water). Third, exercise at least 20 minutes per day. This doesn’t mean go to the gym each day; 3 to 5 times a week is sufficient, depending on your fitness and experience levels. I highly recommend you consult with a personal trainer before starting any exercise program. Fourth, find out if you have any food sensitivities. This is important because if you’re sensitive to some of the foods that you’re consuming it could be causing inflammation in your stomach (among other things, but that is a another article in its own). Food sensitivities might be a reason why it’s so hard for you to achieve six pack abs.

Start with these 4 tips and you will see a difference on how you feel. Remember, if you take care of body it will take care of you.

What Is a Holistic Lifestyle Coach

What is Holistic Lifestyle Coaching?

How many people know what a Holistic Lifestyle Coach is or what exactly do they due? We are all familiar with Massage Therapist, Chiropractors, Physiotherapist, Naturopaths…etc How would you or someone you know benefit from a Holistic Lifestyle Coach?

First let me ask you this, do you know anyone that’s had relationship problems, work/career challenges, financial debt issues, exercise and/or nutrition goals, health issues, spiritual questions…etc? I’m sure we all know someone that has faced one of these problems if not several of them.

A Holistic Lifestyle Coach looks at the whole person, their Personal, Professional and Spiritual life. They take in to consideration all aspects of the person’s experience because “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction” –Newton’s Law. That holds true in the experiences we have in life, from how our personal life affects us, to our professional and our spiritual beliefs. Every choice we make has an out come, it is our decision that create the lives we live day to day. Our health, wealth and relationship are all controlled by our decision day to day, minute by minute.

Now I’m sure you are asking how does a Holistic Lifestyle Coach help? A certified Holistic Lifestyle Coach knows how to ask the right questions to help you achieve your dreams. Just like any coach they are able to mentor you through those challenges no matter what they may be. If you need someone to pick you up when you’re down, be in your corner to cheer you on, or kick you in the butt to get you going. They are there to make sure you stay on track, remember the shortest path between two points is a straight line.  Don’t get me wrong life comes up and tries to knock you off the path and that’s where the Holistic Lifestyle Coach comes in. To help you get through that bumps in the road and get you back on track.

Brandon’s looking at doing an Online Course

If you were to do an Online Course what would you like to learn?

It’s been a while since I posted, did some marketing or even did a video. I’ve been completing a few lose ends that I took on that I got to busy to finish. I completed the P.P.S Success Mastery Program from Paul Chek http://www.ppssuccess.com. I’m just finishing up my review for Holistic Lifestyle Coach Level 2 which I’m using the O.P.I.R (Overview, Preview, In-view, Review) method of studying.  Which has really helped me learn the information and be able to teach it to my clients.

Over the the past few weeks I’ve had an idea of doing an online course that people can do from home. I understand because of the economy people are stressed, looking for work, creditors calling them, not eating or exercising properly which is affecting their health. You might know someone like this, I know I have talk to several people having these challenges.

I’m looking at setting up a course to help people learn how to overcome their challenges Personally, Professionally and Spiritually.  Some of the topics we’ll cover are

  1. Nutrition
  2. Exercise
  3. Understanding your I, We and All Value
  4. Developing your Legacy
  5. Assessing Your Financial situation
  6. How to develop Goals
  7. How to put all this together

These are the topics I’m looking at having in the course and I am open to your suggestions. As well feed back if you know anyone that might be interested in learning more about these topics or needs help in one of these areas.

I would love to hear back from you Send me a message on Twitter (Twitter.com/Brandon_Krieger) or e-mail me at info@knssconsulting.com

I’m looking at setting up this course starting next week, I know it is fast but I know people are looking for help with their challenges.

Thank you everyone,

Brandon

Who is your best doctor?

Have you been struggling with health issues, weight loss or weight gain, been on medication or in pain for years and want a solution?

My name is Brandon Krieger, I’m a Holistic Lifestyle Coach (Level 2) who lived with back pain for years, going from doctor to doctor in pursuit of a solution. I was sent for many X-rays, MRIs, etc. with no relief from my back pain. I’ve taken that solution and developed it into a system that I now use with my clients in teaching them to overcome their health concerns.

I know there are so many people that are doing what I did, going from doctor to doctor, not finding solutions and getting frustrated along the way. Just like me, you want answers.  Well, look no further!

End of Brandon’s Weightloss Challenge

Hi everyone it’s 4:43am right now on September 10th 2009. I started my weight loss challenge on July 27th, 2009 with the goal to get down to 200lbs before my HLC 2 course. This was a great learning experience for me and I learned a lot about training myself and how it relates to other people. First I wasn’t in as good of shape as I thought. I actually gained muscle in for the first few weeks which kept me either balanced with my weight or I gained weight because muscle weigh’s more then fat does. I also learned that sensitivities play a big part in how you digest your food. When I finally received my sensitivity test and eliminated the foods that were bad for me the weight started to come off.

I started on July 27th with these stats

weight = 222lbs
chest = 45 inches
waist = 43 inches
hips = 42 inches
My Goal is to be down to 200lbs as of August 28th, 2009

On September 10th and still going here are my current stats

weight = 215lbs (loss of 7 lbs)
chest = 41 & 1/2 inches ( loss of 3 & 1/2 inches)
waist = 38 inches (loss of 5 inches)
hips = 40 inches (loss of 2 inches)

In 7 Weeks I lost 7lbs and 10 & 1/2 inches in total.  My goal still is to get down to 205lbs for my birthday and by the end of this year to be at 185lbs.  Since completing HLC 2 I have learned a lot of new skills that I’m going to use on myself first and test them out before I start implementing with my clients. Rotational diets, different types of exercises..etc  I will keep posting updates about my weight and my progress here and there to let you know how things are going.

If you have any questions you can contact me on twitter at http://www.twitter.com/Brandon_krieger

Thanks you everyone for your support

Day 16 to 20 of Brandon’s Weightloss Challenge

Good morning everyone,

I have a good week nutritionally and health wise but a bad week personally. On Tuesday there was a lightening storm was pretty bad. So bad that the a lightening bolt hit just across the stress and took out the transformer which left me without power until Thursday morning. I had to do some catch up with my clients because I had to e-mail out forms, questionnaires and information I promised them. That is why I haven’t had a chance until now to post on the blogs until today.

Nutritionally I had a great week my eating is been on track after the fun UFC night and I have lost 4lbs this week. I’m still doing food journals but I wouldn’t be posting them anymore unless you guys want me to. I haven’t received much feed back if they are helping or not so for the mean time I’m going to just do them for myself.

Now the work-outs on my day 1 post I recommended a book “How to Eat Move and Be Healthy” by Paul Chek. I have been doing the Energizer program on Page 175 to 177 and it is such a simple program but I have been losing weight from doing it. I went with this program due to I’ve been trying to build my business, raise money for HLC2 which I wasn’t able to in time 😦 I was a little frustrated because of that but that’s how life goes. My back not a strong as it needs to be which I need to develop the strength and keep the alignment so I don’t have an episode. As well just like the name of the program is called Energizer that is also what I need to build through this process.

Let me know what you think I really would appreciate any and all comments.

You can follow me on Twitter at twitter.com/brandon_krieger

Have a great weekend

Brandon 🙂

Day 15 of Brandon’s Weightloss Challenge

Good morning everyone,

Today is day 16 of my 33 day weight loss program. People have been asked what’s my weight now and I thought about weighing myself but I’m going to wait until the end so I don’t put more pressure on myself. I feel my cloths are getting loser and my stomach is going down so for me those are great signs. Like I said yesterday my eating was off over the weekend which I know affected my weight but I’m sure this week will be great because I’ve increased my workout and intensity starting yesterday I did 2 work out sessions which I’m feeling it today. I’m a little tight all over after the workout so I’m going to do a cardio day today and stretching. I want to be careful that I don’t build muscle through this process and go up in scale weight. I know when I do workout I build muscle very quickly which is good to speed up my metabolism but bad when I’m trying to go down in weight so quickly. So I’m going to play with my workouts to make sure I have enough resistance training to increase my metabolism but not enough to bulk up.

I was at work at 24hr Vision all day and put in 2 workouts.

Morning workout

12 min of cardio with intervals of 2 min jog and 1 min walk for the full 12 mins
Stretching
1 set 10 reps 4 point tummy vacuums
1 set 10 reps McKenzie press ups

Afternoon workout
circuit training

First circuit was

25 static lunges
25 crunches off an exercise ball
25 Russian twists
25 Push ups
plank for 25 seconds (which was our rest)

Second circuit
12 static lunges
12 crunches off an exercise ball
12 Russian twists
12 Push ups
plank for 12 seconds (my seconds lol was doing this routine with a client so I might of lost count a few times)

so I’m a little stiff right now which is good and I’m going to the gym at 10am today to do some light cardio, stretching and a few exercises.

Here is my food journal from yesterday Monday August 10th 2009.
Monday August 10 -2009 Food Journal

If you would like to ask me any questions you can contact me on twitter at twitter.com/Brandon_Krieger
I really appreciate any feed back due to I want to make sure this is benefiting you. As well if you would like me to add any other information please feel free to ask.

Thx,
Brandon
